Private 5G NR coverage
Private 5G is the fastest-growing part of the private-network market, and the hardest to cover: 3.5 GHz does not penetrate concrete, so the in-building problem is worse, not better, than it was on LTE. This page covers the bands we configure and how we build coverage for it.
How big is this market
Figures come from published third-party market research, with the source named under each one — we do not publish numbers we cannot trace.
What a private 5G network is
A private 5G NR network is the same idea as private LTE applied to 5G: the organisation holds spectrum and controls the network. The difference in practice is coverage. Mid-band 3.5 GHz carries far more capacity than LTE but needs a donor right next to the building, so the architecture tends to lean on fibre-coupled remote units rather than off-air donation. Lower bands remain the sensible choice for wide-area or underground coverage.
- Bands

- Configured per project (ETSI / 3GPP tiers apply)
How we extend private 5G coverage
For buildings we combine an off-air donor for the lower bands with fibre-coupled remote units for n78, because that is how a real multi-band private 5G deployment is built. Every model is named by band set, MIMO, form and role (master or remote unit), so the configuration is readable.
Search the model list by number, standard or band, tick what you need and send it to us — documents on file can be claimed immediately, the rest come with the quote after we confirm them.

Common questions
Is private 5G worth it over private LTE?
It depends on the traffic. Capacity-hungry sites with devices to spare benefit; low-density coverage problems are usually better served by LTE and lower bands. We size it with you rather than defaulting either way.
Can one repeater carry several bands?
Yes — our multi-band fibre systems carry several 3GPP bands over one path, and the model number lists them.
What about n78 spectrum availability?
It varies by country and is the usual constraint. Our spectrum database shows which operators hold which bands in each market, which is a practical starting point for planning.
