One fibre system for six bands and every operator on site
Front end BDA into the power splitter, master unit on the fibre side, and two remote unit power classes: +23 dBm with antennas connected directly for small areas, +33 dBm feeding a passive in-building DAS.
System architecture
What is in the system
KT-28/8/3/1/78RP-B45/30/75/60/270-P20
UL +20 ± 2 dBm · DL 0 ± 2 dBm · 5 bands (B28 B8 B3 B1 N78) · delay ≤ 5 µs · NF ≤ 8 dB
Combines five bands and every operator into one fibre path. WiFi is carried by the remote units, not here.

Fibre −5 ± 2 dBm per band · all six bands on one path · 698–3700 MHz design
Distributes the combined signal over fibre to the remote units.

+23 dBm · 348 × 260 × 58 mm · <10 kg · 50 W · delay ≤ 2 µs
Small areas: lift cars, small offices, corridors — antennas connect straight to it.
Datasheet →Remote unit +33 dBmKT-28/8/3/1/W/78OP-B45/30/75/60/72/270-P33-RU
+33 dBm · 19-inch · 300 × 200 × 100 mm · 10 kg · 100 W · delay ≤ 10 µs
Buildings and campuses: feeds a passive in-building DAS, so the antenna network stays conventional coax.
Datasheet →Same architecture, two remote-unit classes
Small areas — +23 dBm, antennas connected directly
A lift car, a small office, a corridor: the remote unit drives the antennas itself, so there is no distribution system at all. The extruded aluminium chassis is 58 mm deep, which is what makes it fit where a rack unit cannot.
Buildings and campuses — +33 dBm into a passive DAS
The remote unit feeds a passive in-building distribution system at +33 dBm, and the antenna network is then an ordinary coax design. One remote unit covers the building, and expanding means adding remote units rather than running new fibre routes.
What the shared system buys you
Six bands and every operator on one fibre path
B28, B8, B3, B1, WiFi 2.4 GHz and N78 on one infrastructure. Each operator and band would otherwise need its own chain, its own fibre and its own maintenance.
One equipment set, one installation, one monitoring system
Local and remote monitoring with automatic fault alarm covers the whole system, so a fault is located once rather than per operator.
Two remote-unit power classes for two very different jobs
A 58 mm deep unit for a lift car, a 19-inch unit for a building. The architecture stays the same; only the remote unit changes.
Fibre distance without RF loss over the building
The master-to-remote link is fibre, so the distance the signal has to travel over coax inside the building is short.
Typical sites
- Hotels, shopping centres and offices where several operators need coverage
- Hospitals and campuses where the operators share the same building
- Tunnels and metro stations where operators converge
- Lift cars, small offices and corridors where a rack unit does not fit
- Stadiums and event venues where coverage has to be restored quickly
- Transport hubs and industrial parks
Band and operator combinations inside B28 / B8 / B3 / B1 / N78 are configured to the assignment, and WiFi 2.4 GHz is carried by the remote units. Tell us the operators, the bands and the areas to cover, and we will confirm what the configuration covers and which regulatory limits apply.
