Kingtone JIMTOM® B8+B3+B1 Fiber Optical Repeater Master Unit, KT-F-L8L3L1-P0-B datasheet
Overview
The master unit of the multi-band, multi-operator fibre coverage system. It receives the combined donor signal from the front end BDA over fibre and distributes it to up to two remote units. It is a 19-inch rack unit, so the whole system fits a standard rack and can be expanded by adding master units rather than running new fibre routes.
- Standard 19-inch cabinet design
- High drive capacity — up to two remote units per master unit, and the number of ROs can be customised
- Wide band design covering 698–3700 MHz
- Single set of equipment for multi-network integration, which is the cost argument
- Low power consumption, excellent heat dissipation
- Local and remote monitoring optional, with automatic fault alarm and remote control
Parameter tables
Values are transcribed from the KT-F-L8L3L1-P0-B official datasheet. Where a range is given it is the datasheet's own range, not a rounded figure.
Radio

- Number of remote units
- 2, can be customised
- RF input level
- 0 to +5 dBm
- Maximum gain
- 0 ± 3 dB
- Frequency range B8 (uplink / downlink)
- 885–915 MHz / 930–960 MHz
- Frequency range B3 (uplink / downlink)

- Environmental class
- IP35
Monitoring
- Local and remote monitoring
- Optional, with automatic fault alarm and remote control
Indicators are based on ETSI standard testing. Availability varies depending on the laws and regulations of each country. Unless otherwise specified, all displayed specifications are typical and subject to change without prior notice.
- The datasheet does not state an environmental class (IP rating); the IP35 figure comes from the product team, not from the datasheet.
- The output power of −5 ± 2 dBm is the optical-side figure for the fibre link; it is not comparable with the RF output of the remote unit. Do not mix the two when quoting.
- The datasheet's mechanical and power block (dimension, weight, power consumption, operating temperature) could not be read from the .doc file — it is not quoted here rather than estimated.
- The document gives no gain or noise figure for the fibre path itself beyond the 0 ± 3 dB maximum gain figure. Ask us for the link budget over a given fibre length.
Where our documents disagree with each other, we show both readings and confirm the value for your variant before you order. Tell us the model and band you need.
Certification status for this model is not recorded in this library. Do not state that it is certified without checking the certificate; ask us for the specific model number when you need the certificate.
